Renault Spain becomes new partner of Club de Excelencia en Sostenibilidad

Madrid, 11th July 2012.- The Club de Excelencia en Sostenibilidad is the reference business forum of sustainable development in Spain. It aims to boost sustainability from the business scope, sharing and spreading business practices for contributing to the excellence of companies and the society progress, purpose that fits perfectly with the corporate social responsibility policy of Renault and objectives of its Strategic Plan 2016, 'Renault Drive The Change'.

President and chief executive of Renault Spain, José Vicente de los Mozos, and the president of Club de Excelencia en Sostenibilidad José Longás, signed the agreement to join the business forum. The event was attended by the recognized philosopher José Antonio Marina.

The corporate social responsibility policy of Renault aims to facilitate sustainable mobility for all, protect the environment and promote equality of opportunity and diversity through education. In this regard, the purposes of the Club de Excelencia en Sostenibilidad fit perfectly with the objectives of the Strategic Plan 2016 that are summarized in adapting the vehicles to citizens and cities. This strategy has led Reanult, through innovation, to develop a full range of electric vehicles that generate zero carbon emissions and which are accessible to all publics.
