Business for Society Czech Republic opens registrations for the national award honoring sustainable and responsible business

Since the starting in 2004, the "TOP Responsible Company" Award has become the main national, independent and established award for sustainable business practices both for large companies and SMEs in the Czech Republic. A special award will be given to the “Responsible Leader”, an award that recognizes responsible CEOs and company owners for their leadership in responsibility. For 2012 there are also new categories such as “Company and the City“, “Responsible Hotel and Restaurant“ and “Responsible Retail“. For this year we launched the “Company friendly to elderly“ which will be awarded in the frame of the European Year of Active Ageing and Solidarity between Generations 2012. Czech companies can register for all categories on the award website by August 10. Furthermore, an official gala will be held on November 8 where winners will be presented to the representatives from the business communities, government and civil society.
