CSR Europe hosts EU Update Webinar

In the EU update webinar on 7 June 2012, CSR Europe gave an update on the outcomes of the past meetings of president Davignon and the European Commissioners Andor, Tajani and Barnier that took place in April and May 2012, especially with regards to the Enterprise 2020 Summit and the legislative proposal on disclosure of non-financial information. The response of the EP to the EC Communication on CSR will be mainly prepared by CSR Rapporteurs Richard Howitt and Raffale Baldassarre. The EC issued a call for proposals on the development of sectoral multistakeholder platforms and is also developing guidance on business and human rights.
