Orange Foundation supports activities for visually impaired at Domaine de Chantilly

France Telecom

The Orange Foundation is supporting a programme of activities for the visually impaired of the Domaine de Chantilly Foundation.

On Thursday 27 November, it will invite two classes of schoolchildren, one sighted and one visually impaired, to visit the Grand Stables of the Domaine with help from the Orange Foundation. The tactile visit of stables themed allows both sighted and visually impaired children to learn about the equestrian world.

These activities are designed to complement initiatives already in place on the Domaine de Chantilly and reflect the Orange Foundation’s commitment to making culture as widely available as possible to the visually and aurally impaired.

The event will be attended by the sponsor of the project, Nathalie Bizet, a visually impaired horsewoman: silver medallist in the dressage World Championships in 1991, bronze medallist in the Atlanta Paralympics in 1996 and the European championships in 2005. Read more (Orange)
