Téléfonica presents guide to address child labour risks in the corporate supply chain at UN headquarters
Téléfonica has delivered a tool to United Nations in order to promote its dissemination. The extension of the guidance to Latin American companies will be conducted through the Local Global Compact Networks and Regional Center for Latin America and the Caribbean. Nestlé boosts nutrition education for women and teenagers in Aboriginal communities in Australia
Nestlé is teaching women and teenagers in Aboriginal communities in Australia the value of nutrition expertise and healthy eating education through a new initiative.The ‘Aboriginal Youth Development Programme’ is working with aboriginal girls aged 11-18 and their mothers across the country educating them on balanced diets, the benefits of exercise and culinary hygiene.As part of the project, a number of initiatives are to be expanded over the next year including the ‘Mother Daughter Nutrition Programme’, school based traineeships, training and development, youth centre volunteering and mentoring… Read more

Unilever's hygiene brand Domestos breaking the taboo of the loo
Unilever, through its leading hygiene brand Domestos announced new initiatives to raise awareness for the global sanitation crisis. ‘Toilets for Health’, a white paper by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and Domestos, gives new insights in the sanitation crisis. In Ho Chi Minh City the first Domestos Toilet Academy was opened and in London an interactive statue ‘The Public Toilet’ was revealed. Coca-Cola increases conservation support for world's largest forest
The Coca-Cola Company and the Sustainable Amazonas Foundation (FAS) today announced the expansion of their partnership focused on the economic development and conservation of Amazonian preservation reserves. The expansion's objective – which includes financial support of US $1.3 million – is to invest in programs that support income generation and conservation in the Rio Negro Sustainable Development Reserve. By 2017, Coca-Cola Brazil will have invested over US$ 13 million in FAS programs… Read more

BASF opens new production plant with the aim to drive electromobility in North America
BASF celebrated the grand opening of its new cathode materials production plant in Elyria, Ohio.
