Business Europe consists of 39 members from 33 countries and aims to implement the reforms for growth and jobs, integrate the European market, govern the EU efficiently, shape globalisation and fight all kinds of protectionism, promote a secure, competitive and climate-friendly energy system and reform European social systems to respond to global challenges.
Business for Social Responsibility
A US, non-profit business association, BSR promotes corporate social responsibility (CSR) by helping companies implement and improve their CSR policies and practices. Working on a global scale, BSR helps businesses achieve commercial success in ways that respect ethical values, people, communities and the environment.
CSR Europe's Member Companies
CSR Europe's member companies are large multinational enterprises from different industries and geographic areas. Our network of close to 70 members provides support to companies in mainstreaming CSR into business practice.
CSR Europe's National Partner Organisations
CSR Europe's network of national partner organisations is made up of 25 individual and independent organisations from 23 European countries. These organisations are membership-based led by business, aiming to promote and facilitate CSR.
European Academy of Business in Society (EABIS)
EABIS is a unique alliance of companies, business schools and academic institutions, with the support of the European Commission, committed to integrating business in society issues into the heart of business theory and practice in Europe.
European Alliance for CSR
The European Alliance for Corporate Social Responsibility is an open partnership for enterprises to promote and encourage CSR. The Alliance was launched in 2006 as a joint initiative of the European Commission and the business community. This website is part of CSR Europe's contribution to the Alliance.

European Social Investment Forum (Eurosif)
Eurosif was created in 2001 to serve as an umbrella association to cover socially responsible investment issues at the European level. The approach to SRI has specific national characteristics linked to the particularities of the structure of financial markets and the legislative and cultural environments of each country. Eurosif takes these factors into account and addresses SRI issues with the European scope in mind.
Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)
GRI is a worldwide, multi-stakeholder network which has pioneered the development of the world’s most widely used sustainability reporting framework and is committed to its continuous improvement and application worldwide. This framework sets out the principles and indicators that organizations can use to measure and report their economic, environmental, and social performance.
ILO Guidelines on Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems
The ILO Guidelines on Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems are the result of extended international consultations held during the last year. They were examined and adopted at a Meeting of Experts held in Geneva from 19 to 27 April 2001. The Governing Body of the ILO approved the text of the Guidelines for publication at its 281st Session (June 2001).
International Business Leaders Forum (IBLF)
IBLF works with business, governments and civil society to enhance the contribution that companies can make to sustainable development. IBLF is an independent, not-for-profit organisation currently supported by over 100 of the world’s leading businesses. IBLF provides strategic counsel to companies to enable them to understand and respond to the development challenges that they face, particularly when operating in transition and emerging economies.
Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)
The OECD brings together the governments of countries committed to democracy and the market economy from around the world to support sustainable economic growth, boost employment, raise living standards, maintain financial stability, assist other countries' economic development and contribute to growth in world trade.
The SiRi Network
The SiRi Network was formed in 2000 as a not-for-profit entity named SiRi Group. It comprises eleven specialist Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) research organisations based in Europe, North America and Australia. With a research base of over 100 SRI analysts worldwide, the SiRi Network has an unrivalled resource of knowledge and expertise on corporations, local markets and SRI investment strategies.
UEAPME
UEAPME is the employer's organisation representing the interests of European crafts, trades and SMEs at EU level. UEAPME is a recognised European Social Partner and acts on behalf of crafts and SMEs in the European Social Dialogue and in discussions with the EU institutions. It is a non-profit seeking and non-partisan organisation.
United Nations Global Compact
The Global Compact is a framework for businesses that are committed to aligning their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption . As the world's largest, global corporate citizenship initiative, the Global Compact is first and foremost concerned with exhibiting and building the social legitimacy of business and markets.
World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD)
WBCSD is a coalition of 160 international companies united by a shared commitment to sustainable development via the three pillars: economic growth, ecological balance and social progress. The WBCSD was formed in January 1995 through a merger between the Business Council for Sustainable Development (BCSD) in Geneva and the World Industry Council for the Environment (WICE) in Paris.
